Summer Harmony
Reiki, Sound Healing & Restorative Yoga
Saturday, 6/1 ~ 9:30am-12:00pm ~ $50
An experience like no other; a magical 90 mins of restorative yoga, layered with individualized reiki and sound healing.
Lake Gaston Yoga is honored to host this special event featuring guest teachers RYT-500 and YACEP Tiffany Pridgen of Glow Yoga, and Reiki Master John Olive, here on our dock.
Restorative Yoga begins with a guided meditation and breath work to calm the nervous system, release anxiety, and bring you to a state of relaxation. The class transitions into a series of supported postures using props, bolsters and blankets followed by an offering of individualized Reiki energy sessions for each student.
Throughout the class, you’ll experience a variety of Sound Healing instruments including the Crystal Singing Bowls, Tibetan Singing Bowls, Panda Drum and Elemental Chimes. Vibrations have a profound healing effect on the human body.
Sound healing stimulates our own innate pathways for healing on a cellular and energetic level. Energy healing helps minimize pain, depression, anxiety, fatigue and a range of other health issues we commonly experience. Taking the time to restore balance to body, mind, and spirit is essential to overall wellness.
The healing energy of Reiki combined with restorative yoga and sound healing guides the body and mind into a deep state of relaxation where physical, emotional, and energetic healing can occur.
Reiki is a Japanese word for a “universal life force energy” and healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety. Reiki is safe, noninvasive, and can be applied to the client by laying on hands or hovering hands just above the body in which the life force energy passes through the practitioner and into the client. Reiki improves the flow and balances energy to support healing.
